On Monday, March 1st the Lower Sixth Ethics and Philosophy group attended the sixth form conference given by Dr. Peter Vardy and Julie Arliss.
This conference is part of the students enrichment program and complements their A-level syllabus. St Mary’s girls always look forward to this conference.
Topics covered included the ethics of genetic engineering, Natural Law, crime and punishment and religion and morality.
The feedback from the students was excellent. The girls are eagerly awaiting the next conference which will be focused on philosophy.
