On Friday 18th June Mrs Seal-Newman and Mrs Tomlinson took all the LIV boarders out for a meal in Shaftesbury to say goodbye to them and wish them well as they move on to pastures new and join the four main houses in September. We left school after supper time with rumbling tummies and made our way into town. Mrs Hill joined everybody at the restaurant where we enjoyed a fabulous meal complete with pudding AND hot chocolates! Mrs Hill said a few words and thanked the girls for all their help and co-operation in this, her first year at St Mary’s and some of the girls also shared a few fond words over their time in Hewarth House. Needless to say, a few tears were shed. We had a wonderful time and it was a lovely way to say goodbye to Hewarth. Thank you Mrs Seal-Newman!
