We have recently received news from Bright Tomorrows whose work we have supported with donations from girls, parents and staff. Flor White is our Spanish Assistant and she was in Haiti in 1994 working in a children’s hospital.
"Hello
My name is Sarah White, I am Flor's sister in law and also a music teacher at a school called St.Mary's in Henley on Thames! I just wanted to write to you on behalf of Bright Tomorrows to say thank you so much for supporting our work through Flor's visit to Haiti. We have been so touched by everyone's generosity and kindness.
We saw Flor and the team off at the airport yesterday, with 12 suitcases of medical supplies and having raised in excess of £11,000! I thought you might like to see this photo of them. They contacted us early this morning to say that they had reached the Dominican Rebublic safely and were now embarking on the 9 hour bus trip to Haiti.
Once again, thank you so much to you, the staff and children for supporting Flor. I know that the team will do all they can to utilise their resources to the best possible effect during their trip.
Kind Regards,
Sarah White
Bright Tomorrows"
