School Productions
There are wonderful opportunities for involvement in theatrical productions at St Mary's. There is a Senior and Middle School production each year and the Lower School also usually mount productions such as 2011's 'Take Four Girls' and 'The Jarrow Crusade' in 2010. The Lower and Middle School productions are written specially for the girls who are going to be in the show each year, so that the parts can be precisely matched to the girls' talents and potential. Production rehearsals are every Tuesday evening, with extra rehearsals scheduled in closer to the production dates.
As well as performing, girls are trained and gain experience in the fields of Stage Management, Lighting, Sound, Make-up and Wardrobe.
