Ofsted Boarding Inspection
Following a recent Ofsted Boarding Inspection I am very pleased to make available an extremely positive report. I know that St Mary’s is an exceptional school and it is very reassuring to have this confirmed.
In the Summary it states:
“Pastoral care provided is an outstanding feature of the school, recognised by parents and boarders themselves”.
“The School is dedicated to promoting its Catholic foundation and principles throughout the community of St Mary’s.”
“Safeguarding of boarders is given high importance supported by trained staff, good quality policies and procedures.”
The report makes only two recommendations which have already been addressed.
I am so proud of the pupils and staff at St Mary’s and this affirmation of the all-round education that the school offers comes at a very exciting time for the school as we build on our traditional values and ethos and prepare our young women for the future.
