The Health Centre

St Mary's School employs a small team of nurses. Senior Nurse Sophie Savage is supported by Kathy Webber, Patricia Ross-Hurst, Pam Handley and Lynne Fish.
The nurses at St Mary's always aim to be kind, caring and approachable while dealing with the girls' medical requirements.
The Health Centre has close contact with the local medical centre, Abbey View in Shaftesbury. Dr Simone Yule visits twice a week, on a Monday and Thursday morning.
The Health Centre with its fully equipped surgery is a modern purpose-built building able to accommodate up to six girls, with one single room used for isolation if required. Each room has a wash basin and television
There is always a nurse on duty between 8.00 am and 8.00 pm, seven days a week.
