A group of girls had the chance to try out Polo at Druids Lodge, Salisbury. The girls all thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of combining riding very fast 'turn on a sixpence' ponies, holding the reins in their left hand and eventually holding a stick in their right hand and trying to hit a ball whilst on the move! Polo is an extraordinary game which is utterly enthralling. Having the opportunity to ride some of these incredible ponies has given the group of nine girls a real taste for the game and all are hoping to fit in a training session each week through the summer term, alongside the girls who currently compete for the school. Well done to all the girls who took part.
