Held at Bryanston School last Saturday, 15th March, Genevra and Lucy took part in the Senior Woodwind Class at this new musical event organised by the Blandford Rotary.

There was a really friendly and warm atmosphere which helped both girls play well and with the minimum of nerves.

Lucy played the Faure Sicilienne and Genevra won the Senior Woodwind Class playing two quite difficult pieces by Roussel called Pan & Tityre. This meant that she played again in the Finals with the winners of all the other classes. A trombonist won the overall Senior Young Musician Trophy but Genevra can be proud of her performance. Well done to both girls.
