Last Thursday, December 6th,  one of our L6 students was presented with her prize after winning her section in the 'Young Talent of Dorset Art Competition'.

It was a lovely ceremony and she recieved a cheque for £50, in addition to the opportunity to work with a chosen artist for the day.

Her work will go on tour in Dorset, starting with the Dorchester Hospital, and travelling next to the Study Gallery in Poole, then Bryanston School, etc.

The Young Talent of Dorset Art Competition was initiated by Arts in Hospital, which is a charity that helps make Dorchester Hospital a more welcoming, happy and relaxed environment for patients and staff through creating gardens, paintings, photographs and hands on projects with patients, staff and the community.
