Mrs Rowland is the House Mistress of Newby House; she is assisted by two very capable house assistants, Mrs.Barington and Mrs. Whitehead.

Mary Ward lived in Newby House in Yorkshire for a very short span of her life following the fire in Mulwith. The house was very grand with extensive, beautiful grounds, which reflects some of the views that we can see out of some of our windows here at school.

The House Captain is Augusta and the Deputy is Lucy P.
