Mrs Holman is the housemistress of Harewell House, ably assisted by her
house assistants Mrs Hughes and Mrs Shutler. Harewell House is
named after one of the houses lived in by Mary Ward. Harewell was in
Northumberland and was the home of a Mrs Ardington. Mary Ward lived
there from 1597-1598 when she was 12- 13 years old. She made her First
Holy Communion there on the 8th September 1598 when she was 13 years
old. This makes the name of Harewell very special in Mary Ward's life
and in the St Mary's Community.St Mary's School, Shaftesbury, Dorset, SP7 9LP Tel: +44 (0)1747 854005 Fax: +44 (0)1747 851557
