As with all educational establishments, St Mary's prides itself in keeping up with all the trends in modern technology. The ICT network at St Mary's is managed by the network manager, Mr James Pearce, ably assisted by Mr Clive Norman (Database Manager) and Mr Marc Elliott-Smith (ICT Technician).
The new network came on-line in January 2005. The new setup makes the school less dependent on outside organisations for the day-to-day functioning of the network.
Internet access is provided using a broadband link which ensures fast access to the world wide web for internet access and email communications. The school network now ensures faster delivery of e-mails and the ability to communicate around the school using a Microsoft Outlook Exchange Server to maintain Personal Information Management for staff and students alike.
